Say Hello to All of Us!

Literacy and English

Gurleen – In Writing, we wrote about the best part of ourselves. These are now on our Literacy wall.

Thomas – We made a Talking and Listening Y-Chart. Then after we worked with our partner to complete a comprehension box.

Charlie – In Spelling, one of our active spelling stations was painting our spelling words.

Emily – In Spelling, one of our active spelling stations was using the playdough to spell our common words.

Numeracy and Mathematics

Harrison – In Maths, we did a mental maths test so Mrs Bradley could learn about what we needed help with.

Scarlett – In Maths, we played a mental maths game called exterminate.

Luca V – In Maths, we made figure me out sheets.

Jessica – In Maths, we played noggle and niggle.

London – In Maths, we played guess my number.

Gemma – In Maths, we played board games.

Adam – In Maths, we played number 10 pairs.

PE

Hassan – In PE, with Mr McMillan we were playing football.

Charlotte – In PE, with Mrs Bradley we played rounders.

Art

Lilian – In Art, we drew self portraits. On one side we had our name and on the other side we had half of our face. We used pencils to colour in. Our wall display looks really good.

Other Information

Jace – This week we picked our new topic to learn about and discover. We will be learning about The Vikings.

Max M – We watched a video about Vikings.
