On Tuesday, Primary Three had a fantastic trip to Hampden Park.
During the trip we took part in three workshops.
The first allowed us to explore the Scottish Football Museum, where we took part in a quiz to test all our new knowledge. We got to see the golden boot and the oldest football cup in the world (the Scottish Cup).
Next, we received a stadium tour from Tom. He took us all around Hampden and we got to sit in the changing rooms where the players get ready for matches. We went to the stands where 50,000 supporters can come to watch and we got to hear the Hampden roar as we walked through the tunnel out onto the pitch.
Finally, we got to take part in our very own football training! We practiced dribbling the ball through sets of cones as a team. Then we all got to score a goal and the instructor measured how fast we could kick the ball. (Ronaldo has never scored a goal at Hampden, but Primary 3C has!).
Overall, we had a great time at Hampden park! Check out some of our lovely photos below 🙂
