P3C – Week 4!

P3C have had another great week!

This week the pupils have been looking at the planets in our solar system and have been learning about some famous astronauts. The pupils have also done some excellent imaginative writing about travelling to space.

The class have been doing some excellent work on their reading books.

The pupils created a storyboard retelling the story in their own words.

The pupils have been learning about characterisation and have created a character profile for the main character in their story book.

The pupils have then created their own mini story based on the main character.

The pupils have also been working on their comprehension.

This week P3C have been working on finding the half way point on a number line.

P3C have been working on Angles on a Tuesday and Wednesday with Miss Lamb. They have been able to identify right, acute and obtuse angles in their learning environment and in different 2D shapes. They really enjoyed finding different angles in their names. Ask them to hear their silly voices that we use to help us remember acute and obtuse!

The pupils really enjoyed their first session outside in the Woodlands. The pupils were given math challenges were they had to order, find shapes and spot different angles.

Another fantastic week, well done P3C! I hope you all have a lovely weekend and I look forward to seeing you all next Tuesday.
