P3C have had a fantastic week!
Literacy

Pupils have been working hard on their reading books and their comprehension. Pupils have been learning about cause and effect (why something happens and what happens as a result). Pupils have been working on using a variety of different connectives to explain their answer.
Health and Wellbeing
Pupils have been learning about a ‘growth mind-set’ versus a ‘fixed mind-set’. Pupils have been discussing ways that they could help themselves when they are stuck with a fixed mind-set. Pupils have created a character to represent effort. Pupils had a great discussion on what the characteristics of effort are.
Numeracy

Pupils have been continuing working hard on their vertical calculations and have even created their own worded problems. Pupils have begun working on their times tables and have shown to already be experts!
P.E

This week pupils continued working on their fitness, creating their own stations for a group to follow.
RME

Pupils have been continuing learning about different parables in the Bible and have been working on retelling the story.
Topic

Pupils will be travelling around the world in their new topic, learning about different cultures and traditions. This week pupils have been learning all about Africa. Pupils even learnt an African dance, song and created some beautiful pictures of African wildlife.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend!
