P3C have had another great week this week!

Literacy

Pupils have been working on visualising a setting. Pupils carefully read the texts to create a picture in their mind of what it would look like, thinking about what they would see, feel, touch, smell and taste. Pupils have also continued to build on their comprehension skills in reading, by extracting information from a text.
Numeracy

This week pupils have been working on vertical subtractions and exchanging. They are developing confidence and enjoy exploring more challenging numbers!
P.E.

Pupils have been working on their fitness in P.E. through a variety of activities. We continue to work on our team work.

China IDL

P3C are excited to explore their new IDL, focussing on China. We used a KWL grid to find out what the children already knew and what they wanted to learn. This week pupils have created their own cherry blossom trees using pointillism and have also created their own Chinese vases. Pupils have been learning how to count to 10 in Mandarin. They are excited to learn about the Great Wall of China.
