P3b 2024-2025

In primary 3 we will have lots of opportunities to experience enquiry-based learning and be able to use a variety of technologies and materials to build on our natural curiosity and problem-solving skills. We loved using the school Kapla blocks to build a supporting structure that was free-standing and demonstrated our imaginative ideas.

This term we have a particular learning focus on fitness, gymnastics and possession games. We are very active in our class and enjoyed working on our response times and remembering to have fun too!

We are very lucky to have Mrs Lyall, who is an East Renfrewshire music teacher, come to give us regular music lessons in Primary 3. In these sessions we are particularly focusing on rhythm, pitch and recognising musical notation.

We loved being able to design and work collaboratively to build a personalised marble run. It really sparked your imagination and creativity and let us show how well we can work with our peers to achieve a goal.

We can’t wait for all the amazing learning adventures we will have this year in Primary 3.
