Making a Greek Salad.

As part of our learning of Ancient Greece, we have been investigating the health benefits of a mediterranean diet. The ancient Greeks were really healthy and grew lots their own produce. We thought it would be a great experience to follow a simple recipe to make our own Greek salad using olives, feta, yoghurt, tomatoes, green leaves, red onion and olive oil with traditional Greek flat breads. It was good to learn the preparation skills and processes involved in food hygiene, using ingredients and following a recipe. And yes, it was delicious!
