Week beginning 3.3.25

Welcome to our blog.

Primary 3a have been very busy this week.

In writing we created a non-chronological report on the Five Senses. We have been learning about this as part of our IDL topic. We have researched and found out lots of facts as well as taking part in many practical activities.

“I added lots of facts to my report to make it exciting to read”. (Ryan)

“In the five senses there is hearing, sight, touch, smell and taste.” (Olivia W)

“My report used a formal tone and it was quite a lot of fun.” (Ruaridh)

“My report was put into different sub-headings”. (Jura)

In Numeracy and Maths we have been doing lots of work on number. Some of us have been learning our two times table. Others have been learning the three times table and some have been developing our subtraction skills.

“I have been learning to share into two groups.” (James)

“I am very good at my two times table and we have been learning all about it. I have enjoyed the games too.” (Sophia)

“I am learning to divide into three groups – it was a little tricky.” (Penelope)

We are beginning to rehearse for our School Show. We are all very excited. It will be wonderful!

“We are learning our parts and working very hard.” (Oscar)

“It is really fun”. (Hugo)

“We are excited about our parts.” (Christopher)

“I am really excited for our show.” (Jovie)

Have a wonderful weekend
