Hello and welcome to our weekly blog.

This week we have been working very hard.

In addition to completing our Literacy and Maths activities, we have taken part in PE both indoors and outdoors.  We are learning all about possession games and increasing our fitness levels.

“We created our own aerobics routines and we danced to the music” (Jura)

We were very excited to start our Vikings topic. We are looking at maps and the lives of Vikings.

“Vikings are from the past and we are going to learn all about them”. (Ruaridh)

“I am excited to learn about how they travelled to different countries”. (Ryan)

“I am excited to make Viking helmets”. (Olivia)

“I can’t wait to find out more about the longboats and how they were made”. (Yahya)

“I am really excited to find out more about Viking Gods – I already know about Freya, the Goddess of Love. ” (Isla)

We continued to make our Class Charter  and have been learning about the Rights of the Child.  It has been interesting to see  how many rights there  are.

We are hopeful that the weekend is lovely and sunny so we can get outside to play.
