We had to write the sentence in the right area, I added a capital letter and a full stop – AA
A story map tells you information so you don’t have to read the full book. It includes the main things in the story – EwH
We got to add interesting vocabulary into our story maps, like ‘frosty snow’ or ‘brilliant warm sunshine’.
Someone else in your group makes a sentence from our reading book then you need to put it in order – RJ
We had to put the instructions in order, there’s one that says first and one that says that finally that came last. The pictures helped because they matched the words. We got to use the instructions to make a moving cat – ErH
We had to find the difference from times tables and addition. Seven times three is the same as adding three seven times -MC
At the top it told you what colour was in each number section. We were practising 5 times table, so you circled the fives and tens on the board and counted each one. It helped me to count in 5’s and you can figure out the number – AW
We were writing calculations and Miss Asif showed us how to write them down on the board. The number line helped me because it had all the numbers to get to the answers. It made it easier – IK

You need a card and you would get a red one for a challenge and a yellow one for practise. You used tens, ones and hundreds to make the number – CS

I used alphabet blocks, you needed to find the right ones to make your words on the board. I like it because you need to find the letters – CM
I had to paint my spelling words, I choose this task because I like doing arts and craft and using paint – AC
So we had to look at the spelling words, then pick a dictionary to find the word. We looked at the first letter, then found the page, then looked at the second letter to find the word. Dictionary is used to tell the meaning of a word you don’t know -MZ

You have to say go to a number page, and then your partner says find a word that stars with b, then you have to look for the word that starts with that letter – AC
