Creation Station:

We needed to make an animal like Tingatinga, we needed to get one animal and put another animal on-top of it  so we could create our own animal. I liked it because you get to make an animal – CM

 

Construction:

You had to draw on a bit of paper then build it with the animals and bricks and insects. I liked working with my friends – ErH

Independent Choice board:

You had to make the number with calculations, I did add, take away and times – KG

You needed a big black piece of paper and any other colour then you had to make windows and its like a city. The amount of windows we had to do was a multiplication.  I liked when i stuck the windows on – RJ

 

We were trying to make the biggest number we could. We estimated the number, we measured each side with ten rows, then we counted it by tens, and it equalled 2528. I liked it because you had to try and solve it to make it a cube with no gaps – CK

We needed to draw a butterfly and then there were different shapes, the circle was 1000 the square was 100 the rectangle was 10 the little square was 1. We needed to make doubles with it so on each side we needed to put the same amount on the butterfly wings. I liked that you could colour it and it was fun to count up all the squares and circles – AW
