Maths is a creative subject, look at all the different ways we can make numbers!

This week we were writing about a haunted house story setting. In order to prepare us for this we closed our eyes and listened to some haunted sounds and imagined what a haunted house would look like.

We brainstormed how a haunted house would feel, smell, feel and look like.

Then we made pictures and drew features of a haunted house.

We have began vertical addition using concrete materials.

We have been reinforcing our knowledge of place value. n

We have been reinforcing our knowledge of 2D and 3D shape

We used string to make different shapes, counting the edges and corners.

We used outdoor materials to try and construct 3D shapes!
