Friday 13th September!

This week we created maths games to play.

Each group were given different objects to create their game from.

Our games needed to focus on the number 10. We could have number bonds to 10 or counting in 10s.

Once we made our own games, we moved around to play each others.

Some of us stayed and taught the other people how to play our game.

Today we also say goodbye to Miss Anderson. She has been with us for four weeks and we have enjoyed working with her. Good luck Miss Anderson.

Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Friday 6th September

This week we have been exploring all the different sea animals in the ocean. We were measuring them using non-conventional units of measure including our hands! Next time we may even use our feet!

We created art work using white crayons and water paint. When we return next week we should be able to hang them up.

In our areas we discussed how we can make them Under the Sea themed. We had a lot of great ideas and Mrs Norman will help us find the materials to create them.

In our writing we looked at the season of Autumn. We wrote fantastic descriptions using our senses.

Have a wonderful sunny weekend!

Friday 30th August

What another fantastic week in Primary 2C. It was lovely to see so many of our grown ups on Wednesday night at Meet the Teacher. As we continue to settle into Primary 2 we have spent more time exploring the areas within the class. This week we looked at how we can use our learning environment to help support our numeracy skills. Your young people may start asking you about how you use numeracy in your daily life.

Have a great weekend.

Welcome to Primary 2C!
