P.E with P6!

This week we were so lucky that the P6B led our PE session.

The Primary 6’s had Playzone training delivered by Tony from Active Schools and have been learning games and activities to teach to us.

They were brilliant teachers and we enjoyed all the activities they organised for us. We were extra lucky that the sun was shining!

I hope you all have a lovely Spring holiday & that the sunshine stays out! 🙂

The Latest from P2C…

Hi everyone.

I have been so impressed with everyone in P2C the last couple of weeks – they have been working so hard! Here is a little round up of what we have been up to. Miss Ross 🙂

In Numeracy and Maths we have been exploring time and symmetry. We like to work together to complete tasks. The iPad station is a particular favourite!

In Literacy we are continuing to learn our sounds each week. We have been focusing on alternative spellings of long vowel sounds. We have also started procedural writing and so far have written the recipe for a jam sandwich. I think it made us all a little hungry!

In Art, we have been learning about the artist Kandinsky and abstract art. We have completed various pieces of art inspired by his work focusing on line, shape and colour.
