When investigating shapes this week Primary 2C became curious about where the vertices meet. After some investigating we discovered that squares and rectangles look the same at the corners. We learned that these shapes have right angles. Looking around our classroom we found lots of right angles!
We even played a fun game where we had to compete against each other to turn the correct way under the teachers direction using the language right, left and right angle. We are having a semi final and final next week in our class. We are wondering where else we might use angles?
