Super Scotland

We can’t wait for all our grown ups to visit us next week for our open afternoons. This week we were very lucky as one of our grown ups came in for an early visit to teach us some Gaelic as part of our Scotland topic. We even got to hear some music on the fiddle!

We then created our own tartan using card and tissue. We found it hard to weave the tissue but we tried our best and the final results look fantastic. We can’t wait to show you them next week.

Goodbye January!

This week in numeracy Primary 2C were learning about different ways to collect and sort information.

We learned about Venn and Carroll diagrams then tried out a few activities to sort out our information. We wondered about all the data handling our grown ups do everyday.

In the MUGA we were working on our tennis skills. Each station made us focus on our control and accuracy when working with the bean bags and balls.

Sorry for the delay in posting – I only noticed it hadn’t posted when I went to post this week!
