Firstly, thank you to everyone who attended our Nativity last week. We loved performing and showing all of our hard work.

We would like to wish you all a magical Christmas and a wonderful New Year celebrating with family and friends 🙂

We have had a fun-filled festive week in primary 2A and we are all excited for the holiday’s!

Thank you for an excellent start to the year, full of hard work and lovely memories. I cannot wait to see you all back in the New Year- Miss Brodie.

Welcome back to our blog! We have had a great week in primary 2A.

The week began with some cheeky visitors in our class! They have been getting up to no good…

Literacy

We enjoyed reading new books this week, continuing DLL and writing a recipe for a good friend.

Maths

We practiced some problem solving this week using the Numicon. We also used the Numicon to help Santa and his reindeer make 20.

Craft

We worked so hard making our crafts this week for the school Christmas Fair. We used our engineering knowledge to plan, build and decorate our crafts. We also spoke about what life would be like inside a snow globe. We used our creativity and curiosity during this to complete our craft and talk about life in a snow globe.

We have lots of advent calendars in our class, one of them gives us a Christmas song of the day. We played the song just before lunch and decided to ‘dance like we are in a snow globe’. We had so much fun.
