We had a wonderful sunny day to walk to the Co-op to deepen our understanding of money and the services of a local business. The children worked well together in their groups to explore and complete some challenges encouraging them to look at the prices of items. They were able to spot and talk about their favourite foods and plan a dinner they would like to enjoy. We finished our experience by buying some ingredients to make play dough in the classroom. We enjoyed a little treat in the sun to give us some energy to manage the big walk back. Thank you to our lovely helpers who made the experience much easier to manage.
