The new Rights Respecting Committee met for the first time in August and spent time deciding what we would like to focus on this year.

The children were particularly interested in:

• Explaining Rights to younger children such as visit the Nursery or P1 and P2 classes.
•   Making sure everyone understands the sustainable development goals.
• Celebrating cultural and religious celebrations like Black History Month and Diwali
• Talking at assemblies.
• Arranging a collection for the food bank.

The children began by designing a logo for the Rights Respecting Committee so we can have our own badge. This was the winning design.
