Everyone is enjoying the new small world character. The boys and girls made an amazing story today using the characters. 

Excellent work today girls making and reading cvc words! 

After we read The Jolly Postman yesterday lots of boys and girls wanted to write a post card and send it. Today for our challenge we looked at lots of different examples of postcards and had a go ourselves!

Primary 1 have been learning how to write an invitation. The boys and girls decided to write invitations for their friends and family to come to their Nativity. They are all very excited to give them to their friends and family! 

The boys and girls are super at reading and spelling cvc words! We were so busy today with lots of cut and stick and drawing activities to practice our cvc words.

The boys and girls have been practicing recognising initial sounds! 

This morning the boys and girls in Primary 1 have been blending! The girls were fantastic at making the words and sounding them out.

 

We have been learning about the letter sound p today. We enjoyed lots of activities using p. The girls below loved taking care of their patient in the role play area.

We have been working on our fine motor skills in writing. We were discussing what our facial features look like when we are happy. We create our happy faces using play dough.
