Language Week Scotland
This week in class, we have been celebrating Language Week Scotland. We each choose a country of our choice. We then completed some research about our chosen country. Finally we created leaflets containing some information and eye catching images!

Scots Pet Poem!
To mark Burns day, P4a wrote their own Scot’s pet poem! We discussed appropriate titles, using Scot’s language and including adjectives. Great Job!
STEM – electrical circuits
This week we have been learning how to make an electrical circuit. We got to experiment by adding bulbs, buzzers and switches.
Catapult!
We created our own catapults and measured how far a snowball would go using it!
STEM – Forces and Electricity
Over the last few weeks, we have been learning about the components of an electrical circuit. Over the coming weeks we are going to be testing it out and making our own electrical circuits.
Snowball Maze!
We had great fun creating snowball mazes! Working Collaboratively, we designed how our mazes would look to ensure they were suitable for our snowball to get through.
BeeBots!
This morning we used the BeeBots to practice giving and following directions. We programmed the BeeBots to make their way through the mazes we created as a group!
