We had a great morning challenging ourselves to work collaboratively to create something with Kapla. Great effort everyone!
As we continue to use Kapla this term I can’t wait to see how the class challenges themselves further!
To finish our Roman topic, we have worked collaboratively to create Roman Shields. Stay tuned to see the final product!
This morning, we participated in our sponsor walk, raising money for SCIAF. We then watched a video about ‘A Day in the Life of Gertrude’ and discussed the similarities and difficulties between Gertrude day and our typical day.

To celebrate British Science Week, the STEM Leaders lead a lesson which involved making a boat with tin foil and testing it to see how much weight the boat could hold. Well done everyone!
As part of our topic ‘The Romans’, we learnt the story of The Centurion’s Servant. Before we read the bible passage, we completed a ‘ I see, I think , I wonder’ of the image illustrating the story. We then used our bible skills to find the passage. To test our knowledge of the story we competed a crossword!
This morning to celebrate World Book Day, we have been sharing our books with others and disguising some of our favourite characters!
This morning, we were continuing the story of ‘Down the Rabbit Hole’. We created storyboards to plan our piece of writing.
