The boys and Layla were fantastic at playing match; recognising the numbers from 0-10 and touch counting to 10 independently! Keep up the fabulous work!
Literacy and English
Some boys and girls played match today, they had to read CVC words and match them to the picture. They were all amazing at blending their sounds!
Lots of boys and girls chose a word pebble and wrote a sentence with the word. How amazing are the sentences! Everyone remembered a capital letter, finger spaces and a full stop!
Wood work
The boys and girls in primary 1 and 2 enjoyed choosing their activity for golden time today. We really enjoyed experimenting with wood work bench. We made clocks, cars, patterns and lots more!

Digging for treasure
The boys made a very cool game today… digging for treasure, in the sand tray.
Social Studies
MThe boys and girls in Primary 1 enjoyed sharing their experiences of a special event, they brought in lots of special things from a special event to show and tell to their class. We discussed lots of Christmas experiences as it’s advent.
We decided to plan a special event, our Christmas Party. We created a mind map of all the things we needed.
Today we followed our plan and our event was a hug success!
First we made lots of decorations. Then to begin we had a disco in the gym hall, followed by party games (pass the parcel, musical statues, musical bumps and musical chaired). We had party snacks and popped Christmas crackers! Final we got a special present.
Numeracy and Maths
During soft start this morning the girls done a great job practising their calculations and number formation.
