Maths Week

Thursday of Maths Week involved creating some maths problems to help our peers find out more information about ourselves and key numbers in our lives. We then went outdoors to make our own maths games. These involved noughts and crosses, maths calculations and finding the line of symmetry!

Week beginning 9th September

This week, we have been using the loose parts to create our own shops! We created a toy shop, a candy shop, an Asda and a sushi restaurant! We also learnt how to draw a bird feather with Mrs Mac. Our new topic is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory so we have created our own cover page for this and have started to read the book together as a class. We have also been continuing to practice our basketball skills.

Week of Learning!

This week we had so much fun!

People created great games using the loose parts and we were able to test them!

In P.E we were very responsible with the basketballs and were learning how to dribble.

We had a fun lesson with Mrs Macintyre exploring and sketching different birds which will link to our topic for this term!

Lacy had some crazy ideas about what the teapot might have looked like in the picture during talking and listening.

Outdoor Learning

Today, we were using teamwork to build something of our choice. We were learning to be creative with our ideas! Using our creativity, we built dens, a beach, a tent, a swing and a zip line. We loved using our imagination to create names for our creations. They were called, The girls camp, The untrained dog house, Silver Sand and the magical house!
