We had a great first session at Forest School!
Day one of Rights Respecting School Week involved taking part in a competition to design our own school mascot!
As part of our ‘Make our Mark’ passports, we created a tarpaulin shelter\ hide out for a bird watch. Great effort everyone!
We have a great first visit to the school library!
P4 had great fun participating in Outdoor Classroom Day. We spent the morning making notes of all the different things we could see, hear touch and feel. We then used our notes to create our poem.
For Numeracy, the pupils then participated in a nature trail hunt, completing word problems in the process. They were then challenged to create their own game using only cones, dices and chalk. All groups were very creative, well done everyone!
Well done to everyone who spoke confidently this afternoon whilst delivering their solo talk. I was so impressed with the time and effort that went in to the talks so thank you to everyone involved!
We had a great morning challenging ourselves to work collaboratively to create something with Kapla. Great effort everyone!
As we continue to use Kapla this term I can’t wait to see how the class challenges themselves further!
To finish our Roman topic, we have worked collaboratively to create Roman Shields. Stay tuned to see the final product!
