As pupils will be very busy this week with their extra visit to school on Wednesday evening at 6pm for their evening Nativity performance. There is no homework this week.
However, if you have any spare time please use the reading prompts given to read your child’s favourite book or a Book Bug book with them.
Thank you 🙂
Lots of boys and girls today decided to create an obstacle course, after we had been on our nature walk and found an obstacle course at the old nursery. They all worked together to come up with a unique design.
We are practising our number stories, we are so good, we have started to race against each other to write all of the calculations in the number story. Keep practising at home too!
Today Ms Robertson brought a very special parcel for Primary1a. Inside was an elf!
We read a story all about the elf, and found out our first job is to name them.
We came up with lots of ideas.
So we decided to create a pictogram to display our class vote, to choose a name for our class elf.
We are delighted to announce  the name of our class elf… Sparkle!Â
For homework pupils have been asked to bring in a picture or an item from a Christmas in the past.
Emmie kicked off our presentations today, bringing her teddy from her first Christmas. What a special thing to share with the class, she spoke confidently in front of her class and answered some very interested questions her class asked her. Well done! We are all looking  forward to lots more!
The girls really enjoyed showing off their amazing homework today to the rest of the class. Excellent effort girls!Â
The boys made excellent models today they also use the design sheets to plan their model and then rate how good it was at the end.Â
Everyone is enjoying the new small world character. The boys and girls made an amazing story today using the characters.Â
We can recognise all coins! We have been counting the 1ps in the purses and banks.
Layla chose to order all the number cards today. Great work!Â
Some boys and girls were challenge to create addition calculations using 1ps.
