The Jolly Postman
After we read The Jolly Postman yesterday lots of boys and girls wanted to write a post card and send it. Today for our challenge we looked at lots of different examples of postcards and had a go ourselves!
Sight words
We have been practising our sight words with say, make, write boards and roll and say games. You can have a go at home too. Keep up the good work Primary 1!
What’s the time!
We can tell the time at o’clock on an analogue clock!
Some boys and girls challenge themselves and learned how to tell the time on an digital clock too at o’clock!
Construction
The boys and girls decided to make a big bridge to cross the classroom today. So we looked at real life structures of different bridges in Scotland. The boys and girls designed their bridges using clip boards and pens then created them with the blocks. Great team work primary 1!
Literacy and English
Primary 1 have been learning how to write an invitation. The boys and girls decided to write invitations for their friends and family to come to their Nativity. They are all very excited to give them to their friends and family!
