I was blown away with primary 3’s presentation in their writing jotters. They did a fantastic job of describing their characters using adjectives. Some pupils challenged themselves and added connectives into their sentences to give their reader more information. Well done everyone!
Month: August 2021
Achievements
Well done to Ayat and Leon for receiving a Growth Mindset award today at assembly for having a positive attitude to learning and when faced with a challenge they both used resources and asked their buddy for help.
Telling the Time
We have been learning to tell the time at quarter to and quarter past. We use the new whiteboards to show the teacher the time on the analogue and digital clocks.

Celebrating Wider Achievements
A big congratulations to Tola and Emmie who appeared in the newspaper this week for being responsible citizens and taking part in a fantastic community opportunity set up by Tola’s mum to encourage everyone to read! Look out around Barrhead for a recyclable pouch with a preloved book. Once you have read it hide it again for someone else to find.
Well done and thank you for sharing girls!

Welcome to Primary 3!
We have all had a lovely few days in Primary 3, catching up on our holiday news.
Today in Primary 3 we were learning to tell the time at quarter past and quarter to. Everyone worked collaboratively in small groups to complete lots of activities to practice telling the time at quarter to and quarter past as well as revising telling the time at o’clock and half past.
Keep practising telling the time at home primary 3!
