Homework this week

– We have covered all our sounds in class so please keep revising all sounds, I recommend revising a Group a week (every night say each sound and action in the Group) This week we will begin with Group 1 .
– Please ask your child to sound out each word in the sound box list highlighted.
– Please encourage your child to read their reading book every evening.

Additionally,

This week pupils are asked to bring in something from a Christmas in the past such as a toy, a decoration or a photograph. Pupils will be asked to share their object with the class.

The boys and girls used lots of different materials to build a house for the three little pigs. They tried to find water proof materials for the windows and roof. We tested the houses by pretending to be the wolf! All our our houses stayed standing, they were very strong houses. 

The girls enjoyed working as a team today, they built an amazing castle and even put princesses in the turrets. We are enjoying the new materials in the construction area. 

The boys decided to take the measuring tap to measure each other today! Great job boys!

The robins have been enjoying our new resources as they practiced their letter formation today.

Well done Kameron! An amazing achievement in martial arts. 

Reece during decided to play with the wooden letters today  and created calculations! Well done Reece!

We have been working on creating ourself in play dough, concentrating on expression in our body movements.

 

Today  for our independent task the boys and girls created themselves throwing leaves into the air!
