We have been enjoying our maths starters, known as Noggle. Using the numbers provided, the children challenge themselves to create as many different calculations as possible, applying a range of mathematical operations and strategies. This activity encourages creative thinking, problem-solving and number fluency while helping the class to become focused and engaged at the start of each maths lesson. It has been fantastic to see the children’s confidence and enthusiasm grow as they tackle each new challenge. ✖️➖➕➗🟰
