Primary 2 enjoyed a day of outdoor learning.  They completed a number scavenger hunt around the playground where they had to identify the number and the quantity of tens and units.

They then also joined in with a weight activity. The class have been learning to weight with grams and kilograms. They were estimating the weight of objects then using scales to measure the items.

Lastly we went out for muddy movers where they were set a challenge to create a den. One group worked well together to create this house. It even had a front door entrance with flowers and a path.

The other group made a restaurant which they helped and kept refining to make it fit more people in.
