Today Primary 5 began their Bikeability training. Learning how to turn left from a minor road to a major road, showing awareness of their surroundings and participating in some slow races too.

Today Primary 5 began their Bikeability training. Learning how to turn left from a minor road to a major road, showing awareness of their surroundings and participating in some slow races too.

Primary 5 enjoyed being outdoors today to develop their Athletic skills. They have been learning how to use the correct form to jump hurdles and pass on the baton in a relay race. They practised their long jumping skills and used metre sticks to measure their progress.

Primary 5 have started Badminton in PE. They are learning how to move quickly to cover the court, serve the shuttlecock, return a serve and the rules of Badminton.

Primary 5 have started Gymnastics in PE. They have been learning how to create a sequence using a balance, movement and control.


Primary 5 have been working hard to test and improve their fitness levels. They have enjoyed working at different fitness stations and learning about the different muscle groups they are focusing on.

Primary 5 enjoyed their visit to the Reindeer and they fed them some carrots.

Primary 5 have been developing their Netball skills in PE for the last 4 weeks. This was our final week where we learned about positions and tactics.

Primary 5 have been developing their basketball skills in PE. They have been learning how to control the ball, dribble and shoot and use their feet to create space in games.

Part of the Science outcome is to contribute to the design of a game when learning about magnets. Primary 3 loved creating their own maze and asking a friend to use a magnet to work their way through the maze.
