Primary 1 are working hard to learn tricky words and have loved our roll and write/make station🎲.

The class enjoyed learning about Guy Fawkes Night and were able to identify different ways we could be safe on Fireworks Night🪄🎆. We wrote our tricky words in glitter✨.

We were lucky to be working with Miss Cherry during November and the class enjoyed learning about water during a mini-topic. This involved stories, water exploration and play💧. We also experimented with different water states, including ice, to rescue treasure🧊💎!

The class enjoyed taking part in activities during our Children in Need charity day, including some gym hall activities run by our Primary 7s and a toy and book sale🐻.

The class expressed an interest in learning about maps. We made links with French, Maths and Social Studies when exploring this. They enjoyed looking at different types of maps in the class atlas and using the globe to find Scotland and France. We explored directions using maps outside and with the Blue Bots and mats in class🕹.
