What a fabulous time we had on our trip to Glasgow Science Centre. A bodyworks show started off the day then plenty of time to explore, play and be mini scientists.

Today Barrhead Times visited P5/2. We are finalist for Beano’s funniest class 😂😂😂.

1. P5 have been learning about chemical reactions this afternoon! We mixed baking soda and vinegar. We observed that there was a gas and smell given off and the temperature dropped meaning it gave off heat. We also made posters on what we learned.

This term we are learning about Africa. Today P5 created African landscapes using paint and charcoal.

Working together to calculate the perimeter of the playground.

Primary 5 created their own shadow puppets before working collaboratively to perform to their peers.

We have gained so much knowledge about Crime and Punishment through the ages. It has been a fascinating pupil led topic.

Primary 5 have been using natural materials to make their own paintbrushes and then create their own landscape painting.🖼️

P5 have been learning how to code and then they have been making  their own  fabulous creations.

Today is World Book Day, and P5 enjoyed participating in the Footie Bookie online quiz, along size thousands of other UK schools.
