In Science we have been learning about our senses. When learning about taste, we had fun tasting different foods, whilst blindfold and trying to guess what they were. We then sorted them into different categories eg. Salty, sweet, sour and bitter.

With the lovely weather recently, our class have enjoyed Muddy Movers in the sunshine. We have seen some excellent teamwork and communication skills as we used our imagination to create a building site, moved materials safely around our site and then created a den.

P2.2 had fun dressing up as their favourite characters for World Book Day 2022. We brought in our favourite books and shared them with the class and then had fun with our Where’s Wally Scavenger Hunt.

Primary 6 pupils came into our class to read to us and together we designed the front cover of our book.
In numeracy we have been exploring weight , using scales to compare the weight of different objects and identifying the heaviest and lightest. We have weighed items in grams and kilograms too.
Numicon is a popular resource in our class and we have used it to represent numbers 1-20 and also to solve a puzzle.
