This morning, children from Cross Arthurlie Primary are debating whether AI and digital technology are making improvements to our lives. We are arguing that they are improving our lives and the children made some good arguments towards St John’s Primary.

The P7s have been making scribble bot with the P4’s. They have created the Scribble bots from range of electrical components and a plant pot and some pens.

P7 have been making their own robots. Using simple circuits, bottle caps and pens along with a motor we have made a robot that can make scribble marks. We are calling them scribble bots.

As part of the trip to the science centre we have been learning about life on other planets and how to detect life. We did an experiment to see if we could find life using yeast and sugar.  Can you guess which cup had the yeast in it?

We are having fun with Mandarin. Today we learned tones for the letters A. We also practised how to say hello and goodbye.

Children are building bridges using KNex. They have learned that the triangle is the strongest shape and are using this to make their bridges as strong as possible. A triangle in engineering is called a truss!
