Weather has cleared up! Children are getting stuck into the second day of activities!Today we have raft building, canoeing, hill walking and some more groups on boat rides.
A short hour and a half journey and we’re at Lochgoilhead. Got settled in and the first activities out the way albeit very wet. Little ramble, some speed boating, Jacob’s ladder and a hike!
P7.1 were having a great time at PE today. Super confident moves!
P6 are preparing to teach a lesson to P1 next week. We don’t want to give away too much but they will be building circuits online and in real life, drawing circuit symbols, playing board games the P7s made and even a quiz. All run by the P6s!
The winners of the class competition are at the high school, competing to get into the final. Keira and Finlay are building a fair ground ride, 30cm in height with 6 seats.
Today we are using ABCYa to make a short animation. We are going to try and save and add it to our Google classroom.
P6 are having an engineering competition to see who can build a bridge. The winner will get to go to Barrhead High School to compete against other schools in the area.
We are looking for children who are good leaders, are able to communicate well, creative and who understand simple engineering features.
We designed our bridges before building them using Knex.
P6 are at the church today for Easter celebrations. There’s arts and crafts, story telling and even some feet washing!
P6 have been making sketches of their favourite books. They have used isometric paper to draw them and add on the title.
