We wanted to get in touch before festivities are in full flow, to share with you some career opportunities for talented students leaving education in 2018. KPMG Apprenticeship programmes are a great place for your students, sons, daughters, granddaughters to start their career. Research shows that in classrooms across the UK more and more students are now considering starting their career straight after A-Levels or Scottish Highers rather than following a traditional university route. We believe that those leaving School or College and going straight into the world of work have as much potential to succeed at KPMG as our graduate trainees, and we have the programmes and ongoing career development plans in place for them to really thrive. Why an Apprenticeship? Apprenticeships aren’t what they used to be. KPMG’s Apprenticeship Programmes offer support for students every step of the way – from the application process, to knowing what to bring along on the first day, to making sure their first step on the career ladder is a valuable, productive and rewarding one. We provide support on the things that are going to make life easier too, like covering degree and qualification fees, so that they can continue their learning and earn a salary at the same time. The more students give, the more they’ll get back, and the quicker they’ll grow. What type of Apprenticeship Programmes are available? KPMG Apprenticeship Programmes available to students cover a wide range of the business. All offer a fresh alternative to the traditional university route, and have been specifically selected to ensure that they get the most out of their experience whilst training with us. KPMG360° Digital is a new four-year apprenticeship programme based in London, Leeds and Manchester which combines academic study with practical work experience. At the same time, students will study for a BSc degree in Digital and Technology Solutions with our training provider, BPP University. Students could be based in our offices in Manchester, Leeds or London. KPMG360° provides students with the opportunity to work with some of the best and brightest in our industry. Importantly, it includes a rotational foundation year that’s specifically designed to allow them to experience all areas of the business before choosing an area to specialise in and gain a professional qualification. A Parent’s point of view Ali, Father of our Apprentice Prisha, was amazed when he first heard about the opportunities on offer for his daughter.
