We are currently recruiting for Technical Apprentices and would like to invite you and your parent or guardian along to our Open Evening on:

Thursday 21st May 2015,

At our Doosan Babcock Visitors Centre, T&E Building

Westway Business Park, Porterfield Road, Renfrew, PA4 8DJ

Between 5pm-8pm

Our IMechE accredited Technical Apprenticeships will involve an element of academic work; as such we will need you to meet the following criteria:

2 Highers at A-C from Maths (mandatory), Physics (preferred), Chemistry, or other Technical subject(s)

(Achieved or Expected)

(Opportunities are available in various engineering disciplines)

What qualifications do I need for an apprenticeship?

The qualifications required will be dependent on the technical apprenticeship discipline which you wish to pursue.

For Apprentice Technician positions, candidates should possess 2 Highers at A-C from Maths (mandatory), Physics (preferred), Chemistry, or other Technical subject(s)

How many positions are available?

As part of our 2015 recruitment campaign we are recruiting 5 apprentices for our Renfrew site spread over the following disciplines:

Metallurgy and Materials Mechanical Engineering (Integrity) Non Destructive Testing (NDT) Component Testing Plant Integrity

How do I apply for an apprenticeship?

All technical apprenticeship application must be submitted by Friday 29th May 2015.

This should be carried out by visiting our website www.doosanbabcock.com.

Click on Careers, Vacancies, click on the link for our apprenticeship schemes,

click on Technical Apprenticeship then click on apply for Technical Apprenticeship.

When will I find out if I have been successful?

You will be advised within four weeks of the closing date if your application has been

accepted for you to proceed the next stage of the recruitment process.

This is likely to be the last week in August 2015.
