Maintenance Engineering Apprenticeship

Eclipse are seeking to train the next generation of technicians to support operations at our Inchinnan base.
We are seeking applications from individuals who have a genuine interest and curiosity for Engineering. You will join our Engineering & Facilities team and eventually be working on a wide variety of equipment and processes in support of our operations. This will include the repair & maintenance of existing process equipment and facilities plant. You will be working with our current team members to develop both your Mechanical and Electrical skills whilst attending local college to obtain an HNC in Electrical Engineering.
- Year 1 – Full time at our East Kilbride training provider’s facility.
Successful candidate will undergo 1 year classroom and practical training leading to a National certificate (ONC) and SVQ Level 2 vocational qualification. This training will be at a dedicated training facility where candidates will receive basic theory and practical craft skills.
- Year 2 & 3 – Day release
Successful Candidates will complete an HNC in Electrical Engineering at a local college. During this period candidates will complete a structured vocational training program provided by EKGTA to SVQ Level 3.
- Year 4 – Full time at Eclipse
Successful Candidates will complete SVQ Level 3 and 17th Edition certificate in Electrical Installation.
