Each year Amey offer Civil Engineering employment opportunities for individuals looking to combine progressing academic studies whilist launching a professional career.

Not only is it a real alternative to going to university full time but they will be working alongside tecnical specialists gaining practical work experince, whilst earning a salary.

Indiviuals will work in a team, getting to know how business works.  As well as practical work experience, they will get a variety of training, including studying at a local University on a day release basis to achieve a BSc (Hons) Environmental Civil Engineering.

They will also have the opportunity to participate in The Duke of Edinburgh’s (DofE) Gold Award.

Applicants must have an interest in Civil Engineering and must have attained or aiming to achieve the following subjects:

English (H) and Mathemtatics (H) at least B grade

and 2 (H/A) awards from Physics, Technological Studies, Geography, Craft and Design or Economics.
