Job Title: WER564 Modern Apprentice Hairdresser
Nature of the Vacancy:                                            Permanent
Location: Giffnock
Number of days per week: 5 days per week
Number of hours per week: 35
Salary/Wage: MA rate:  £3.70 per hour
Will training be provided? Yes

Main duties/responsibilities:
The Salon, Giffnock is looking for a MA Trainee Hairdresser to join their team.   The successful applicant will be working in the Salon 4 days per week and attend Kramer’s Hairdressing College 1 day per week, working towards an SVQII in Hairdressing.

 

At college you will learn the traditional skills to cut, colour and style hair, giving you the opportunity to earn while you learn.

 

Your duties will include:

 

  • Meeting and greeting clients
  • Answering the telephone and making bookings
  • Preparing hospitality for clients, tea, coffee etc
  • Making sure Salon area is kept clean and tidy
  • Shampooing
  • Taking colours off
  • Mixing colours
  • Assisting stylist to deliver excellent customer care to clients

 

 

Experience required:
 

No formal experience is required, we are looking for an enthusiastic and a hard-working individual.

 

Skills, abilities and personal qualities:
 

Applicants should be motivated, with good customer service skills and be friendly and outgoing.
