UKCAT is changing to UCAT –

same test, new name!

FAO – Careers Advisers  /   Heads of 6th Form  /  Heads of Science

The UKCAT has been re-launched this week under the new name of the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) to recognise that our test is now widely used in the admissions and selection process by a growing number of international universities.

The UCAT continues to be the largest medical admissions test in the UK, currently used by 30 UK universities for admission to their Medicine and Dentistry Degrees.

Please forward this email to those students applying through UCAS this October who need to be aware of this mandatory part of the university application process.

Prior to 2019 the UCAT was known as the UKCAT.

Whilst the name has changed, the test content remains the same.
