Modern Apprenticeship Opportunities
Here at Skills Development Scotland we will soon be launching our Modern Apprenticeship Recruitment Campaign and we are looking for applications from enthusiastic and hard-working individuals!
At SDS we are ambitious about diversity and inclusion and want our organisation to reflect the people of Scotland and be a place where people can be themselves. We actively promote diversity and inclusion within our workforce, and welcome applications from groups that are currently underrepresented including disabled people, those from minority ethnic communities and those who are care experienced
During a Modern Apprenticeship, you’ll learn on the job and get the experience you need to progress your career. Plus, you work towards an industry recognised qualification (SVQ), all while earning a starting salary of £16,550! The two year programme puts you in an administrative, creative, digital, IT, Health & Safety or customer service facing role.
Some of the benefits you can expect to access during your time at SDS are:
- 30 days annual leave
- 13 days public holiday
- Flexi-time scheme
- Excellent professional development
To qualify you will be aged 16 to 24 years old and not previously undertaken an SVQ in Business and Administration. We will be flexible on age criteria for applicants who are care leavers or disabled. Formal qualifications are not essential, but a good standard of literacy and numeracy is required.
We will launch our campaign during May and urge you to visit our website, register and sign up for a job alert to ensure that you don’t miss out on our fantastic opportunities! Registering on our website couldn’t be any easier, a step by step guide on how to register and set up a job alert is attached.
