In Science we have been learning about materials with Miss Grinfeld.
We were looking at different objects and thinking about what they were made of.
We guessed that the first one, the feather duster, was made of feathers and plastic. The scarf was made of wool. A spoon was made of metal. The party ribbon was made of silk. A lot of our furniture is made of wood.
Muneebah had to find the correct coins. I liked it because if you got it right you got a tick. It was good fun.
Finlay had to drag the coins to make 57p. I enjoyed this game because I got to learn maths in a fun way.
Lily had to make £20 to buy the headphones. ‘I had to tap it and when I got it right I got a tick. I was good at it.’
Miss Taylor explains to the class how to play the Maths Rally Game.
Finlay Parkin said, ‘It was fun but we were still learning Maths.’
Logan said, ‘I enjoyed it because it’s about working in groups.’
Thomas said, ‘ I liked doing it because you had to answer questions and also it was hard.’
Euan said Albert Einstein told us that, ‘ It’s not that I’m so smart it’s just that I play with problems longer.’
There were 4 teams and it was a race to see who could answer the most questions correctly.
