Today the Fibonacci group went on an angle hunt to find a variety of angles throughout the school as they have been learning about obtuse, reflex, right, straight and acute angles. When they came back to class, they used iMovie to show their findings! Click on the video above to hear and see their  findings!

For Ben’s WW2 homework task he made a cake with ingredients which would have only been available during WW2 and the time of rationing. He called it the vinegar cake however you couldn’t taste any vinegar – it was delicious!

This morning we were extremely lucky to have Mr Moore and Ekta visit us from Williamwood High School to speak to us about politics and democracy. We were split into groups and we had to come up with an idea to campaign about and create posters and speeches. We were able to use our persuasive language that we have been learning about during literacy to help build our speeches.

This week during french we have been learning about school subjects and having discussions about what subjects we like. Quelle matière préfères-tu?

Finally today we put the finishing touches to our air raid shelters and they look fantastic. Great work P7!

Today we began the decorating stage of the air raid shelters. The children demonstrated their creativity, design and team work skills throughout! Tomorrow we will put together the finishing touches!

Well done to Brooke who was chosen as captain for her netball team on Sunday and also awarded player of the match. The cluster teams better watch out come January for the school netball games!

The first pen licences were handed out today….lots of excitement!!! Well done to Ellie and Isobel for achieving theirs first! Who will be next?!?!?

Today we began the process of building our air raid shelters. We made non toxic paper mache using water and flour to make the paste. Then using strips of newspaper we began the process of constructing the Anderson shelters.
