Following the First Minister’s announcement, schools will reopen on 5th January to key worker and vulnerable children only. We would like to wish all pupils, parents/carers and staff a well deserved and enjoyable Christmas holiday.  School returns on Tuesday 5th January and we look forward to seeing you then.  Stay safe.

Merry Christmas to everyone from staff and pupils of Williamwood High School. The Performing Arts department wanted to spread some Christmas cheer since we are missing out on the usual festivities this year. Congratulations to the following pupils on their fantastic musical achievements.

Rhona Langford has been offered a place in NYOS Juniors Orchestra . Rhona played the last movement of a Mozart Horn Concerto , which at 12 years old is a great achievement.  Well done Rhona!

Ben Dickinson retained his place in the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. He is the third horn player  from Williamwood who has played with NYOGB. This is a phenomenal achievement.  Ben has also been offered a place in the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland, Senior Orchestra.  Ben also recently sat his grade 8 horn exam and passed with distinction.  Well done Ben!
