As you will be aware, we have launched the #BeKind campaign. We have met with students from each year group in focus groups as well as meeting with a variety of teachers and parents. All pupils were shown a presentation last week (view here) and this week we are launching nominations for kindness postcards. These postcards will be delivered to the individual pupils and a copy will be sent home as well as being on display in The Street area. Postcards can be found in classrooms G.3, 1.3 and 2.3. and there is also a Google Classroom (code – naw3hkk) where pupils can nominate online if they wish.

Education Recovery Youth Panel
Recruitment is now underway by Young Scot and Children in Scotland for the Education Recovery Youth Panel. Information can be found here.
Young Scot, in partnership with Children in Scotland, are looking for 15 young people from across Scotland, from different cultures and communities, to be part of the Education Recovery Youth Panel.
The panel – a successor to the earlier Scottish Learner Panel project – will provide a group of approximately 15 young learners, aged 9 to 18 years old (primary 5 – secondary 6) from across Scotland. The Panel will help shape the Scottish Government’s COVID-19 education recovery work, ensuring young people from a range of backgrounds and experiences are included in the Coronavirus (COVID-19) recovery plans for education.
The closing date for applications is Sunday 8th November and this will be followed by a selection workshop on Thursday 12th November.
We would be very grateful if you can share this widely with any stakeholders or networks who may have an interest.
