The Williamwood Malawi Partnership are launching a ‘Miles to Malawi’ challenge this week and we will aim to cover 7,000 miles between this weekend and October 31st. We hope to raise at least £1 per mile as we walk, run or cycle the miles over the next five weeks with all money being used to fund the construction of three classrooms at Emazinyeni Primary School in conjunction with Classrooms for Malawi.

Background:
A group of S6 pupils were due to visit Malawi in June with a group of S5 pupils due to visit in June 2021. Whilst the trips may not be able to go ahead, we want to ensure that we help improve the lives of children at Emazinyeni PS, many of whom are currently taught outdoors.
