The Food and Textile department have joined a national group of nearly 1000 volunteer home sewers who are making scrubs and scrub bags and delivering them to healthcare workers across Scotland. Our department are currently making scrub bags in their spare time. These are used for putting used scrubs in prior to washing to reduce the risk of contamination. The bags are being made using donated fabric and duvet covers. Our first batch of bags have been delivered to staff at Neilston Medical Practice. Well done!
